The Duchesnays received tremendous accolades and crowd support from their fans during their illustrious skating career. Although the judges did not score them fairly during their career, the Duchesnays always received tremendous standing ovations after every performance

When the Duchesnays turned up with this routine in Prague at the Europeans in January '88, it was like the beginning of a new era in ice dancing. They virtually took the expression "being different and innovative" to another dimension. The audience understood. The judges didn't (yet). The interview at the end of the video (like so many others) shows that they are not only fabulous artists on the ice, but also very humble and lovable people. Just adorable.
